Tis
the Season...
Dee Dee Mills, Transmission
Editor and World Mission Broadcast Writer
What are you thankful for? With so
many opportunities to find blessings and show gratitude throughout
the year, November and December seem to be the months that we focus
on what God has given to us. The opportunity to change the lives
of others is one of the greatest gifts we as Christians have been
given.
God has blessed each and every one
of us in a unique and powerful way. Through every trial and triumph
in our lives, God has been there and will continue to be there as
long as we welcome Him in. Perhaps the greatest blessing of all
is to know that we never have to go through a single minute without
the constant guidance and comfort of our Lord.
As you approach this holiday season,
be thankful for each heart that has been changed through the work
of World Mission Broadcast. Be thankful for those who have devoted
their lives to reaching the unreached, and for their willingness
to respond to God’s calling on their lives. Open your hearts
to God and hear how He is calling you – be thankful for the
opportunity to serve our loving and mighty King!
A New Voice
- Ayman Kafrouny
Dee Dee Mills, Transmission Editor and World Mission Broadcast Writer
The Nazarene Voice radio program first
aired on March 30, 1992. Since that first program, this broadcast
has consistently reached the countries of the Middle East with the
message of Christ. With the retirement of Jacob Ammari, who began
the program, The Nazarene Voice will now have a new voice. Ayman
Kafrouny has accepted the call to become director of Nazarene Broadcasting
and Communications Ministry (NBCM) in the Middle East.
After
an eight year career as a professional singer, Ayman accepted Christ
and made the decision to leave his life as a celebrity to serve
the Lord. He began composing Christian songs and accepted the position
to produce television programs for SAT-7, an evangelical Satellite
Television network, which serves all the Middle East and Northern
Africa.
In September 2003, he and his wife
sensed the Lord asking them to resign. Once again God provided in
the months following their resignation and the Church of the Nazarene
asked them to direct the Nazarene Broadcasting and Communications
Ministry (NBCM) in the Middle East. They are excited with this new
assignment and definitely feel God's direction and blessing as they
begin this new field of service.
My wife, Grace, and I are blessed
beyond measure as we see God's faithfulness, first in calling us
"Out of Darkness into His Glorious Light”, and then giving
us the opportunity to sing for Him in revivals and meetings and
to serve Him through the Church of the Nazarene. Ayman Kafrouny
